يحتوي قانون الطفل الذي أصدره في عام ١٩٩٣ مجلس الدولة لاستعادة القانون والنظام، وهو القانون رقم ٩/٩٣، كثيرا من اﻷحكام التي تحمي الطفل من الاستغلال وإساءة المعاملة والبيع، إلخ.
