222. In case No. 1070/2002 (Kouidis v. Greece), involving a violation of article 14, paragraph 3 (g), the Committee concluded that the State party was under an obligation to provide the author with an effective and appropriate remedy, including the investigation of his claims of illtreatment, and compensation.
222- وفي القضية رقم 1070/2002 (كويدس ضد اليونان) بشأن انتهاك الفقرة 3(ز) من المادة 14، خلصت اللجنة إلى أن الدولة الطرف ملزمة بإتاحة سبيل انتصاف فعال ومناسب لصاحب البلاغ، بما في ذلك إجراء تحقيق في ادعاءاته بالتعرض لسوء المعاملة، وتعويضه.

187. In case No. 1558/2007 (Katsaris v. Greece), where the author, of Romani ethnic origin, complained of ill-treatment by the police, the Committee concluded that the State party had failed in its duty to promptly, thoroughly and impartially investigate the author's claims and found a violation of article 2, paragraph 3, read in conjunction with article 7; and articles 2, paragraph 1, and 26 of the Covenant.
187- وفي القضية 1558/2007 (كاتساريسضد اليونان)، التي شكا فيها صاحب البلاغ، الذي تعود أصوله إلى إثنية الروما، من سوء معاملة الشرطة له، خلصت اللجنة إلى أن الدولة الطرف لم تقم بواجبها المتمثل في التحقيق بسرعة واستفاضة ونزاهة في ادعاءات صاحب البلاغ، وخلصت إلى أنه قد حدث انتهاك لالتزامات الدولة الطرف بموجب الفقرة 3 من المادة 2 مقترنة بالمادة 7؛ والفقرة 1 من المادة 2، والمادة 26 من العهد.
