I have no doubt that the dedication and professionalism of the members of the Committee, as well as the pluralistic and multidisciplinary nature of their contributions, will ensure that the work of the Committee contributes significantly to the implementation of both the Convention and the follow-up to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance in the years ahead.

A joint meeting was again held with chairpersons of the human rights treaty bodies, which discussed the status of implementation of recommendations by special procedures, and the follow-up to the World Conference against Racism, Racial Discrimination, Xenophobia and Related Intolerance and implementation of the Durban Declaration and Programme of Action.
وقد عُقد ثانية اجتماع مشترك مع رؤساء الهيئات المنشأة بموجب معاهدات، نوقشت فيه حالة تنفيذ التوصيات الصادرة عن المقررين الخاصين، ومتابعة المؤتمر العالمي لمكافحة العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وتنفيذ إعلان وبرنامج عمل ديربان.
