وإذ يعيد التأكيد على اﻷولوية المسندة لتصنيع أقل البلدان نموا في خطة اﻷعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل ، بصيغتها الواردة في مرفق مقرر مجلس التنمية الصناعية م ت ص-٧١/م-٢ ،

1. Requests the Director-General, within the framework of the Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO:1
١ - يطلب الى المدير العام أن يقوم ، في اطار خطة اﻷعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل ،)١( بما يلي :

In resolution GC.7/Res.1, the General Conference endorsed the Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO.
في القرار م ع-٧/ق-١ ، أقر المؤتمر العام خطة اﻷعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل .

“Recalling its resolution GC.7/Res.1, “The Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO”, and taking into account decision IDB.21/Dec.5,
" إذ يستذكر قراره م ع-٧/ق-١، المعنون " خطة اﻷعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل " ، ويأخذ في اعتباره أحكام المقرر م ت ص-١٢/م-٥،

It was in that spirit that the Member States had developed the Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO, which was the product of cooperation among all groups of countries.
٢٤- ومضى يقول ان الدول اﻷعضاء وضعت خطة اﻷعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل انطلاقا من هذه الروح، فجاءت هذه الخطة ثمرة التعاون فيما بين جميع مجموعات البلدان.

2. In December 1997, the General Conference convened its seventh session and adopted resolution GC.7/Res.1, in which the Member States endorsed the reform package entitled " Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO " .
2- عقد المؤتمر العام دورته السابعة في كانون الأول/ديسمبر 1997، واعتمد القرار م ع-7/ق-1 الذي أيدت فيه الدول الأعضاء طائفة من الاصلاحات عنوانها " خطة الأعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل " .

5. The 1997 Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO had been aimed at making the Organization more responsive to the needs of its clients, and it had called for substantive deployment to the field.
5- واستطرد قائلاً إن خطة الأعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل استهدفت جعل المنظمة أكثر استجابة لاحتياجات عملائها، ودعت إلى انتشار كبير في الميدان.

2. The broad programmatic objectives and priorities of UNIDO are given in the Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO endorsed by the General Conference in resolution GC.7/Res.1.
2- يرد بيان الأهداف والأولويات البرنامجية العامة لليونيدو في خطة الأعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل التي أقرها المؤتمر العام في قراره م ع-7/ق-1.

It was important to ensure the stability and continuity of UNIDO's activities within the framework of the Business Plan on the Future Role and Functions of UNIDO.
20- ومضى في حديثه قائلا إن من المهم ضمان الاستقرار والاستمرارية في أنشطة اليونيدو ضمن إطار خطة الأعمال بشأن دور اليونيدو ووظائفها في المستقبل.
