2. Also welcomes the decision by the Committee to set up a working group to elaborate a plan of action for the future work of the Committee on behalf of children with disabilities;

A number of suggestions concerning the future work of the Committee were made by members, with some calling for the creation of a mechanism to monitor the arms embargo.
وعرض الأعضاء عدة مقترحات بشأن أعمال اللجنة في المستقبل ودعا بعضهم إلى إنشاء آلية لرصد الحظر على الأسلحة.

It was observed that those issues deserved particular attention in the future work of the Committee.

On the basis of the discussion in the informal consultations, the Bureau prepared revised texts of articles 4 to 12 bis (A/AC.252/1997/CRP.6) and articles 1 to 3 and 12 ter (A/AC.252/1997/CRP.6/Add.1) (see annex I.A). The texts prepared by the Bureau are intended simply to further facilitate the future work of the Committee.

It was agreed that a group of friends of the Co-Chairs would be established to prepare a road map for the future work of the Committee, which would include the development of a strategy for incorporating major projects into the Committee's work.
