وأضاف قائلا إن على الأمين العام ورئيسة اللجنة الاستشارية الاستجابة لشواغل الوفود، نظرا إلى أن اللجنة الخامسة لا تستطيع أن تنتهي من دراستها للبنود المعروضة عليها بكفاءة وفي الوقت المناسب وبفعالية في ظل الظروف الراهنة غير المقبولة.

وتفي الصين بإخلاص بالتزاماتها بموجب المعاهدات الدولية لحقوق الإنسان ذات الصلة، وتتعاون مع آليات الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان، وتشارك على نحو بنّاء في البنيان المؤسسي لمجلس حقوق الإنسان والاستعراض الدوري الشامل، والنظر في جميع البنود المعروضة على المجلس.

In fact, we are of the view that each of the items before us is inherently a part of the other; therefore, only a joint discussion can be meaningful.
وفي الواقع، نرى أن كل بند من البنود المعروضة علينا هو جزء أصيل من البنود الأخرى؛ ولذلك فإن المناقشة المشتركة هي السبيل الوحيد لتحقيق الأهداف.

In conclusion, I should like to reiterate the willingness of my delegation to cooperate with all the members of the Committee and to participate actively in considering all the items before us so as to strengthen our aspirations to establish security and peace in the international community for the well-being of all humankind.
وفي الختام، سيدي الرئيس، أجدد لكم تعاون وفد بلدي واستعداده للمشاركة والتفاعل مع كافة البنود المطروحة على جدول أعمالنـا مما سيدعـم آمالنـا وطموحاتنا جميعا نحو بناء مجتمع دولي يسوده اﻷمن والاستقرار لما فيه خير البشرية جمعاء.

We also support the view that when we are talking about improving the methods of work or the rationalization of the work of the Disarmament Commission, we are talking about the effectiveness and the outcome of our work, rather than the number of meetings we have and the duration of our discussion of the items before us.
ونؤيد أيضا الرأي القائل بأننا حين نتكلم عن تحسين أساليب عمل هيئة نزع السلاح أو عن ترشيد أعمالها، فإنما نتكلم عن فعالية عملنا ونتائجه، وليس عن عدد الاجتماعات التي نعقدها والمدة التي تستغرقها مناقشتنا للبنود المعروضة علينا.
