II. Restructuring and modernization of the Secretariat-General of the LAS :: Mechanism of the Secretariat-General
ثانيا - إعادة هيكلة الأمانة العامة للجامعة وتحديثها:

" That international convention, called the LAS Leñas Protocol, is formally incorporated into the Brazilian system of domestic positive law, since after being approved by the Congress (Legislative Decree 55/95), it was promulgated by the President of the Republic by means of Decree 2067, of 12 November 1996.
" وقد أدمجت هذه الاتفاقية الدولية، المسماة ببروتوكول لاس لينياس، بشكل رسمي في النظام البرازيلي للقوانين الداخلية الوضعية، منذ أن أقرها الكونغرس (المرسوم التشريعي 55/95)، وأصدر بها رئيس الجمهورية المرسوم 2067، المؤرخ 12 تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 1996.

WMO participates in and contributes to the meetings and activities of the LAS Permanent Committee on Meteorology and its various working groups.

1. To entrust the LAS Secretariat with responsibility for inviting Arab organizations and agencies working in the area of natural disaster impact mitigation and relief and rescue operations to a meeting for consultation on coordination of their efforts and programmes through the establishment of an appropriate mechanism for inter-Arab coordination in disasters and emergencies;
أولاً: تكليف الأمانة العامة للجامعة بدعوة المنظمات والهيئات العربية العاملة في مجال الحد من آثار الكوارث الطبيعية ومجال أعمال الإغاثة والإنقاذ إلى الاجتماع للتشاور بشأن تنسيق جهودها وبرامجها من خلال إيجاد آلية مناسبة للتنسيق العربي في حالات الكوارث والطوارئ.

The objective of cooperation in criminal matters is to simplify the processing of precautionary measures and foreign judgements generated by any of the contracting parties, along the lines of what already exists in relation to the LAS Leñas Protocol and the Protocol on Enforcement of Precautionary Measures -- especially to enable them to be processed as though they were simple letters rogatory.
