1. The statement of 31 January 1992, adopted at the conclusion of the first meeting held by the Security Council at the level of heads of State and Government was a historical achievement which marked the beginning of a new era of peace and cooperation among the nations of the world.
١ - كان بيان ٣١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٢، الذي اعتمد في ختام أول اجتماع يعقده مجلس اﻷمن على مستوى رؤساء الدول والحكومات، انجازا تاريخيا آذن ببدء عهد جديد من السلم والتعاون فيما بين دول العالم.

On 31 January 1992, the Security Council at the level of Heads of State and Government invited the Secretary-General to prepare an analysis and recommendations on strengthening preventive diplomacy, peacemaking and peace-keeping.
وفي ٣١ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٢، دعا مجلس اﻷمن على مستوى رؤساء الدول والحكومات اﻷمين العام إلى إعداد تحليل وتوصيات بشأن تعزيز الدبلوماسية الوقائية وصنع السلام وحفظ السلام.

The first-ever meeting held by the Security Council at the level of Heads of State and Government, in January 1992, represented a major commitment to the Organization at an important moment in world affairs.
٧٩٦ - إن الاجتماع اﻷول من نوعه لمجلس اﻷمن على مستوى رؤساء الدول والحكومات، الذي انعقد في كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٢، بمثابة التزام سياسي تجاه المنظمة في مرحلة هامة من مراحل الشؤون العالمية.

In June 1992, the Secretary-General submitted a report entitled " An Agenda for Peace: preventive diplomacy, peacemaking and peace-keeping " (A/47/277-S/24111) for the consideration of the Members of the United Nations pursuant to the statement adopted at the conclusion of the first meeting held by the Security Council at the level of Heads of State and Government on 31 January 1992.
