Decides to transmit the information received concerning the sexual exploitation of women and other forms of forced labour during wartime to the Special Rapporteur on violence against women and the Special Rapporteur on the situation of systematic rape, sexual slavery and slavery—like practices during periods of armed conflict;

By a letter dated 13 May 1997, the Special Rapporteur on the situation of systematic rape, sexual slavery and slavery—like practices during periods of armed conflict, Ms. Linda Chavez, informed the High Commissioner/Centre for Human Rights that she was not in a position to submit her final report as requested by the Sub—Commission in its resolution 1996/11.
