At the request of, and with the financial support of, the Republic of Korea, DITE, in collaboration with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), has carried out a feasibility study on the role of publicly-funded research and publicly-owned technologies in the transfer and diffusion of environmentally sound technologies.
