120. Thus, the Constitution required the legislature to promulgate a law regulating conditions for the acquisition of Iraqi nationality and its retention in the event of multinationality. On this basis, the Nationality Act, No. 26 (2006) was promulgated and came into force. It contains legal underpinnings in support of this article of the Convention, ensuring the following:
120- من ذلك نجد أن الدستور قد ألزم المشرع بإصدار قانون ينظم أحوال اكتساب الجنسية العراقية والاحتفاظ بها في حال تعدد الجنسيات، وبناءً على ذلك صدر قانون الجنسية النافذ ذو الرقم 26 لسنة 2006 وأصبح ساري المفعول والذي احتوى مضامين قانونية تدعم ما جاءت به هذه المادة من الاتفاقية حيث تضمن ما يلي:

197. this article of the Convention permits exceptions to the right to information referred to in article 18, providing for the possibility of judicial recourse in order to gain access to information, which may in no case be suspended or restricted.
197- تسمح هذه المادة من الاتفاقية باستثناءات فيما يخص الحق في المعلومات المشار إليه في المادة 18، وتنص على إمكانية اللجوء إلى القضاء من أجل الحصول على المعلومات التي لا يجوز تعليقها أو تقييدها في أي حال من الأحوال.

8.15 With respect to the author's allegations in regard to article 15, paragraph 4, of the Convention, the State party questions the applicability of this article of the Convention, given the Committee's general recommendation No. 21.
8-15 وفيما يتعلق بادعاءات صاحبة البلاغ بشأن المادة 15(4) من الاتفاقية، تشكك الدولة الطرف في انطباق هذه المادة من الاتفاقية بالنظر إلى ما جاء في التوصية العامة للجنة رقم 21.

8- إن اللجنة إذ تلاحظ ما تبذله الدولة الطرف من جهود في سبيل تعديل قانونها المدني ليتضمن حكماً محدداً بشأن حق الطفل في معرفة والديه البيولوجيين والاحتفاظ بهويته، فإنها لا تزال تشعر بالقلق إزاء استمرار تحفظ الدولة الطرف على هذه المادة من الاتفاقية.

199. In considering the provisions of this article of the Convention attention should be focused on the elements in the Spanish legal system designed to bring about the integration of persons with disabilities into working life, with emphasis on the existing conditions of access to retirement for persons with disabilities.
199- ولدى النظر في أحكام هذه المادة من الاتفاقية ينبغي تركيز الاهتمام على عناصر النظام القانوني الإسباني التي تهدف لتحقيق إدماج الأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة في الحياة العملية، مع التشديد على الأوضاع الحالية لإمكانية التقاعد بالنسبة للأشخاص ذوي الإعاقة.

67. The conduct described in this article of the Convention, covered by article 17 of the Constitution and included in the definition of the offences of unlawful detention or abduction, is provided for in both ordinary criminal law (the Criminal Code) and military law (the Military Criminal Code).
67- ينص القانون الجنائي العادي (القانون الجنائي) والقانون العسكري (القانون الجنائي العسكري) على السلوك المبين في هذه المادة من الاتفاقية الذي تناولته المادة 17 من الدستور وضُمّن في تعريف جرائم الاحتجاز غير القانوني أو الاختطاف.

The SAR has entered a reservation to this article of the Convention, but a study of all its reservations is being conducted. As noted earlier, on 4 April 2005, SCFA joined forces with UNICEF to organize a workshop which was attended by judges, legal experts, religious leaders and members of the People's Assembly, for the purpose of discussing the SAR's reservations to the Convention.
على الرغم من تحفظ الجمهورية العربية السورية على هذه المادة في اتفاقية حقوق الطفل فإنه تجري دراسة هذه التحفظات حيث عقدت الهيئة السورية لشؤون الأسرة بالتعاون مع منظمة اليونيسيف ورشة عمل بتاريخ 4 نيسان/أبريل 2005ضمت قضاة ورجال قانون ورجال دين وممثلين عن مجلس الشعب بهدف مناقشة التحفظات السورية على اتفاقية حقوق الطفل.
