The subprogramme will also aim to strengthen the capacity of developing countries, at their request, in formulating and implementing integrated policies and participating in discussions and negotiations relating to international investment.

(i) $189,600 for consultants for the preparation of technical publications and reports on issues related to international investment and transnational corporations, International Standards of Accounting and Reporting, and foreign direct investment statistics; and (ii) $61,300 for ad hoc expert group meetings;

21. With regard to international investment and related issues, the secretariat has been implementing various projects including Investment Policy Reviews (IPRs) and training workshops in many LDCs.
