At its 39th plenary meeting, on 22 July 2008, the Economic and Social Council, recalling its decision 2007/269 of 27 July 2007 and taking note with appreciation of the report of the Secretary-General:

In its decision 2001/295 of 25 July 2001, the Council, recalling its decision 1996/302, decided that the non-governmental organizations on the Roster of the Commission on Sustainable Development (see Council decision 1993/220) should apply for consultative status with the Council as would any other organization, as outlined in its resolution 1996/31.
قرر المجلس، في مقرره 2001/295، بعد أن أشار إلى مقرره 1996/302، أنه ينبغي للمنظمات غير الحكومية المدرجة في قائمة لجنة التنمية المستدامة (انظر مقرر المجلس 1993/220) أن تقدم طلبات للحصول على المركز الاستشاري لدى المجلس شأنها شأن أي منظمة أخرى، على النحو المبين في قراره 1996/31.

At its 57th plenary meeting, on 28 July 1995, the Economic and Social Council, recalling its decision 1995/226 of 1 June 1995 in which, on the recommendation of the Commission on Sustainable Development, it approved the establishment of the Open-ended Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Panel on Forests, decided that the 1995 meeting of the Panel should be held at United Nations Headquarters from 11 to 15 September 1995.

At its 52nd plenary meeting, on 26 November 2012, the Economic and Social Council, recalling its decision 2010/241 of 21 July 2010, in which it took note of, inter alia, the report of the Ninth United Nations Regional Cartographic Conference for the Americas, decided to hold the Tenth United Nations Regional Cartographic Conference for the Americas in New York from 19 to 23 August 2013.
