As a result of the Group's request concerning illicit arms brokering, the public statement issued by the Wassenaar Arrangement at its seventh plenary meeting (Vienna, 6 and 7 December 2001) contained the following observation:
وبناء على طلب من الفريق فيما يتعلق بالسمسرة في مجال الأسلحة غير المشروعة، جاء في البيان العام الذي أصدره اتفاق فاسينار في اجتماعه العام السابع (فيينـــا، 6 و 7 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2001)، الملاحظة التالية:

The relevant Hungarian regulation is therefore stricter than the EU regulations or the Wassenaar Agreement/Munitions List, since e.g. all hunting and sport guns are controlled equally under the Hungarian military foreign trade law.
