1. Any dispute between two or more States Parties concerning the interpretation or application of this Convention which is not settled by negotiation shall, at the request of one of them, be submitted to arbitration.
١ - أي نزاع ينشأ بين دولتين أو أكثر من الدول اﻷطراف بشأن تفسير هــذه الاتفاقيــة أو تطبيقها ولا يتم تسويته عن طريق التفاوض، يعرض للتحكيم بناء على طلب أي منها.

CAT (art. 30), CEDAW (art. 29) and MWC (art. 92) provide for disputes between States parties concerning interpretation or application of the Convention to be resolved in the first instance by negotiations or, failing that, by arbitration.
