Within the framework of the global campaign entitled " 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence " , and as part of the campaign of the Secretary-General entitled " UNiTe to End Violence against Women " , UNIFEM organized in Ramallah in December 2009 the second festival to combat violence against women, which was attended by more than 800 people and supported by 10 United Nations agencies.
