Less developed countries will need assistance in modern technologies for renewable energy, particularly in rural areas, water management with transfer of environmentally-sound technologies (ESTs) as well as capacity-building in cleaner and sustainable industrial production.
أما البلدان الأقل نموا فسوف تحتاج إلى المساعدة في تطبيق التكنولوجيات الحديثة للطاقة المتجددة، لا سيما في المناطق الريفية، ومن أجل إدارة المياه مع نقل تكنولوجيات سليمة بيئيا، بالإضافة إلى بناء القدرات في مجال الانتاج الصناعي الأنظف والمستدام.

23- أما فيما يتعلق بالجهود العالمية لمكافحة التغيرات المناخية، فقال إنه أُسندت إلى اليونيدو مهمة هامة تتمثل في تيسير الوصول بشكل أفضل إلى المصادر الموثوقة والنظيفة من الطاقة وتعزيز الكفاءة في استخدامها وقال إن النمسا تدعم تركيز المنظمة على الصناعات المستدامة ذات الانبعاثات المنخفضة من الكربون وعلى الإنتاج الأنظف والمستدام.

Funds mobilization will focus on: (a) strengthening further the very close cooperation with the Montreal Protocol and the Global Environment Facility for components C.4 to C.7 and (b) strengthening thematic cooperation with key donors on components C.1 to C.3 and C.8, especially on rural and renewable energy, and cleaner and sustainable production.
