12. National reports should aim at highlighting the achievements obtained as well as the difficulties encountered in implementing the Convention for the benefit of all relevant actors and stakeholders in the NAP process.
12- وينبغي للتقارير الوطنية أن تستهدف إلقاء الضوء على الانجازات المحرزة وكذلك على الصعوبات التي صودفت في تنفيذ الاتفاقية لصالح جميع الفعاليات المعنية والأطراف المؤثرة في عملية برنامج العمل الوطني.

Last year, my delegation spoke about the worrying trend by some coastal States to tilt the balance of the Convention in favour of the environment.
لقد تطرق وفدي العام الماضي إلى النزعة المقلقة لدى بعض الدول الساحلية نحو ترجيح كفة ميزان الاتفاقية لصالح البيئة.

It also recommends that the State party undertake systematic ongoing education and training programmes on the provisions of the Convention for all professional groups working for and with children, such as judges, lawyers, law enforcement officials, civil servants, teachers, health personnel including psychologists, and social workers.
كما توصي بأن تضطلع الدولة الطرف ببرامج توعية وتدريب مستمرة بشأن أحكام الاتفاقية لصالح جميع الفئات المهنية العاملة لأجل الأطفال ومعهم، ومن هؤلاء مثلاً، القضاة، والمحامون، وموظفو إنفاذ القانون، وموظفو الخدمة المدنية، والمدرسون، والموظفون الصحيون، بمن فيهم الأخصائيون النفسيون، والأخصائيون الاجتماعيون.

(e) Create training programmes related to the principles and provisions of the Convention for border guards, police and judiciary.

We should of course bear in mind that we all shoulder a major responsibility to preserve the integrity of the Convention for its own sake and for the sake of other disarmament treaties which, no doubt, will be affected by the fate of the Chemical Weapons Convention.

20. The Committee recommends that the State party develop and implement systematic and regular training on the content and application of the Convention for public officials dealing with migrant workers, such as judges, prosecutors, police officers, immigration and emigration officials, especially officials of the Migration Service, labour inspectors and social workers, including at the local level.
20- توصي اللجنة الدولة الطرف بتنظيم وعقد دورات تدريبية عادية بشكل منتظم بشأن مضمون وتطبيق الاتفاقية لصالح الموظفين العموميين العاملين مع المهاجرين، مثل القضاة والمدعين العامين وضباط الشرطة وموظفي الهجرة ولا سيما موظفو إدارة الهجرة ومفتشو العمل والعمال الاجتماعيين، بما في ذلك على المستوى المحلي.

It recommended that the State strengthen its efforts to ensure that the provisions of the Convention are widely known and understood by adults and children alike and continue its systematic education and training on the Convention for all professional groups working for and with children.
وأوصت اللجنة الدولة الطرف بتعزيز جهودها للتأكد من أن أحكام الاتفاقية معروفة على نطاق واسع ويفهمها الكبير والصغير على حد سواء. كما أوصتها بمواصلة توفير التثقيف والتدريب المنتظمين بشأن الاتفاقية لصالح جميع الأوساط المهنية التي تعمل مع الأطفال ومن أجلهم(16).

Thirdly, there is a worrying trend by some coastal States to tilt the balance of the Convention in favour of the environment.
