Some delegations expressed the view that extending the scope of the agenda item to include the general exchange of information and views on legal mechanisms relating to space debris mitigation measures, taking into account the work of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee, would be conducive to more in-depth discussion on legal issues related to space debris.
