While commending the legal reforms undertaken since ratification of the Convention, CEDAW urged the Government to review and expedite withdrawal of the reservations to articles 11, 13, 15 and 16.

2. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) noted that Angola maintained reservations to articles 7, 8, 9, 13, 15, 17, 18, 24 and 26 of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees, and recommended the withdrawal of those reservations.
2- وأشارت مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين إلى أن أنغولا لا تزال تُصّر على التحفظات على المواد 7 و8 و9 و13 و15 و17 و18 و24 و26 من الاتفاقية الخاصة بوضع اللاجئين لعام 1951(7)، وأوصت بسحب تلك التحفظات(8).

UNHCR recommended that immediate steps be taken to remove reservations to articles 12(1) 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of the 1951 Convention relating to the Status of Refugees and, most urgently, that access to education be extended to all refugee and asylum-seeking children in Egypt.
5- وأوصت مفوضية شؤون اللاجئين باتخاذ خطوات عاجلة لسحب التحفظات على المواد 12(1) و20 و21 و22 و23 و24 من اتفاقية عام 1951 الخاصة بوضع اللاجئين، وبالمسارعة على وجه خاص إلى إتاحة التعليم لجميع أطفال اللاجئين وملتمسي اللجوء في مصر(22).

7. UNHCR noted that in October 1998 Antigua and Barbuda succeeded to the 1954 Convention on the Status of Stateless Persons with reservations to articles 23, 24, 25 and 31 and encouraged it to withdraw them.
7- ولاحظت مفوضية الأمم المتحدة لشؤون اللاجئين أن أنتيغوا وبربودا آلت إليها الخلافة في تشرين الأول/أكتوبر 1998 اتفاقية عام 1954 بشأن الأشخاص عديمي الجنسية مع التحفظات على المواد 23 و24 و25 و31 وشجعتها على سحب هذه التحفظات(14).
