The Nairobi Conference adopted the Nairobi Forward-looking Strategies for the Advancement of Women up to the year 2000.
واعتمد هذا المؤتمر استراتيجيات نيروبي التطلعية للنهوض بالمرأة للفترة الممتدة حتى عام ٢٠٠٠.

In 1985, the road brought us to Nairobi, where we crafted the Forward-looking Strategies for the Advancement of Women to the Year 2000, based on the three core issues of equality, development and peace.

Building on three previous global women's conferences and the United Nations Decade for Women, the Conference should result in the full implementation of the Nairobi Forward-looking Strategies for the Advancement of Women to the year 2000.
واستناداً الى أعمال ثلاثة مؤتمرات عالمية سابقة معنية بالمرأة والى عقد اﻷمم المتحدة للمرأة، ينبغي للمؤتمر أن يسفر عن التنفيذ الكامل لاستراتيجيات نيروبي التطلعية للنهوض بالمرأة للفترة الممتدة حتى عام ٠٠٠٢.

26. In resolution 48/104, the General Assembly proclaimed the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women; in resolution 48/108 it recognized that the Declaration was essential to the attainment of full respect for women's rights and was an important contribution to efforts aimed at achieving the objectives of the Nairobi Forward-looking Strategies for the Advancement of Women to the year 2000.
٢٦ - وفي القرار ٤٨/١٠٤، أصدرت الجمعية العامة الاعلان المتعلق بالقضاء على العنف ضد المرأة؛ وفي القرار ٤٨/١٠٨، سلمت الجمعية بأن الاعلان أساسي لبلوغ الاحترام الكامل لحقوق المرأة وبأنه إسهام مهم في الجهود الرامية الى تحقيق أهداف استراتيجيات نيروبي التطلعية للنهوض بالمرأة للفترة الممتدة حتى عام ٢٠٠٠.

22. Recognizes that the Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women See draft resolution I above. is essential to the attainment of full respect for women's rights and is an important contribution to efforts aimed at achieving the objectives of the Nairobi Forward-looking Strategies for the Advancement of Women to the Year 2000;
٢٢ - تسلم بأن اعلان القضاء على العنف ضد المرأة)٣٢( أساسي لبلوغ الاحترام الكامل لحقوق المرأة وبأنه إسهام مهم في الجهود الرامية إلى تحقيق أهداف استراتيجيات نيروبي التطلعية للنهوض بالمرأة للفترة الممتدة حتى عام ٢٠٠٠؛

In accordance with ECE decision K (48), the agenda of the Regional Preparatory Meeting will include, inter alia, a review and appraisal of the implementation at the regional level of the Nairobi Forward-looking Strategies for the Advancement of Women to the Year 2000, and an elaboration of regional input to the Platform for Action, emphasizing the role of women in the economy, in particular in countries in transition.
