The Collaborative Partnership on Forests Framework 2003 represents both the work plan and the annual progress report of the Partnership.

A liaison group meeting on non-timber forest resources, including members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, the secretariat of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, the World Conservation Union and other relevant organizations will also be established.

The Meeting was open-ended and attended by experts from Forum member countries, member organizations of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, major groups and regional organizations as well as from the secretariat and Bureau of the sixth session of the Forum, all acting in their personal capacity.

The member organizations of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests are invited to provide information on (i) and (ii) above. These views and information should be provided to the Forum secretariat by 31 January 2004;

22. The Collaborative Partnership on Forests shall be invited to make scientific and technical contributions to the work of the ad hoc expert group to support the work of the ad hoc expert group in a resource capacity.
22 - وتُدعى الشراكة التعاونية المتعلقة بالغابات إلى تقديم إسهامات علمية وتقنية في أعمال فريق الخبراء المخصص، وذلك باعتبارها من قدرات الموارد.

Several international organizations and processes are invited to collaborate on specific issues and to foster cooperation and synergies between the programme of work, including the members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, the United Nations Forum on Forests and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
وقد دُعيت عدة منظمات وعمليات دولية إلى التعاون فيما يتعلق بمسائل محددة وإلى تعزيز التعاون والتآزر بين برامج العمل، بما في ذلك الأعضاء في الشراكة التعاونية المتعلقة بالغابات، ومنتدى الأمم المتحدة المعني بالغابات واتفاقية الأمم المتحدة الإطارية بشأن تغير المناخ.

Contributions from member organizations of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests, particularly the strategic framework, were important in its elaboration. Proposals and recommendations of the Secretary-General are presented in his report on recommendations for addressing key challenges of forests in a changing environment (E/CN.18/2009/8). II. Forests as a microcosm of sustainable development
وتمثل أحد الإسهامات المهمة في إعداد هذه الوثيقة في ما قدمته المنظمات الأعضاء في الشراكة التعاونية المتعلقة بالغابات، ولا سيما الإطار الاستراتيجي للاستجابة المنسقة، وترد مقترحات الأمين العام وتوصياته في التقرير المتعلق بالتوصيات الرامية إلى مواجهة التحديات الرئيسية للغابات في بيئة متغيرة.

(g) Invited the United Nations Forum on Forests secretariat to compile the views submitted by the member States and the information provided by the members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests in preparation for the ad hoc expert group meeting;

Further recalls the commitment made at the World Summit on Sustainable Development to implement the expanded action-oriented work programme of the Convention on Biological Diversity on all types of forest biological diversity, in close cooperation with the United Nations Forum on Forests, members of the Collaborative Partnership on Forests and other forest-related processes and conventions, with the involvement of all relevant stakeholders;
