At the most recent negotiating session in Accra, Ghana, in August, the Parties had requested the Chairman of the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention to compile proposals for presentation at Poznán, to serve as a preliminary version of a negotiating text.

The LA programme will provide legal advice from the secretariat for the negotiations on, and implementation of, a comprehensive agreement on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention and further commitments for Annex I Parties under the Kyoto Protocol.
71- وسيوفر برنامج الشؤون القانونية المشورة القانونية المقدمة من الأمانة للمفاوضات بشأن اتفاق شامل على العمل التعاوني الطويل الأجل بموجب الاتفاقية، ولأغراض تنفيذ ذلك الاتفاق، وكذلك لأغراض التزامات إضافية للأطراف المدرجة في المرفق الأول من بروتوكول كيوتو.

Action: The COP will be invited to consider the report by the Chair of the AWG-LCA referred to in paragraph 26 above and to take any action it considers appropriate.
