Pursuant to the decision of the General Assembly referred to in paragraph 15 above, the annual base salary of the members of the International Court of Justice was revised from $161,681 to $166,596, effective 1 January 2010.

As a result, the annual base salary of judges of the Tribunal remains at the previous level, namely at $161,681, whereas the post adjustment multiplier was reduced from 73.9 for December 2009 to 62.3 for January 2010.

37. In paragraph 10 of its resolution 61/262, the General Assembly further decided to maintain, as an interim measure, the retirement benefits of the members of the Court at the level resulting from the annual base salary decided in its resolution 59/282.

7. Pursuant to that principle, the nineteenth Meeting of States Parties, in order to align the annual base salary of the members of the Tribunal with the adjusted level of remuneration of the members of the International Court of Justice, decided, on 26 June 2009:
7 - وعملا بذلك المبدأ، قرر الاجتماع التاسع عشر للدول الأطراف، من أجل التوفيق بين المرتب السنوي الأساسي لأعضاء المحكمة والمستوى المعدّل لأجور أعضاء محكمة العدل الدولية، في 26 حزيران/يونيه 2009، ما يلي():

10. Decides to maintain, as an interim measure, the retirement benefits of the members of the International Court of Justice and the judges of the International Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia and the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda at the level resulting from the annual base salary decided in its resolution 59/282, and requests the Secretary-General to revise article 1, paragraph 2, of the Pension Scheme Regulations accordingly;
10 - تقرر الإبقاء، كتدبير مؤقت، على الاستحقاقات التقاعدية لأعضاء محكمة العدل الدولية وقضاة المحكمة الدولية ليوغوسلافيا السابقة والمحكمة الجنائية الدولية لرواندا عند المستوى المعتمد بناء على المرتب السنوي الأساسي الذي أقرته في قرارها 59/282، وتطلب إلى الأمين العام أن ينقح بناء على ذلك الفقرة 2 من المادة 1 من النظام الأساسي للمعاشات التقاعدية؛

4. Consequently, pursuant to General Assembly resolution 64/231, the annual net base salary of the members of the International Court of Justice was revised from $161,681 to $166,596, effective 1 January 2010.
