6. Committee on Budget and Finance (a) Election of members 27. At the 10th meeting of its first session, on 21 April 2003, the Assembly, having received no nomination from Eastern European States, decided to defer election of candidates from those States until its second session.
27 - في الجلسة 10 من الدورة الأولى المعقودة في 21 نيسان/أبريل 2003 قررت الجمعية بعد أن لم تتلق أي ترشيحات من دول أوروبا الشرقية تأجيل انتخاب المرشحين من تلك الدول حتى دورتها الثانية وقيام المكتب بتحديد فترة لإعلان الترشيحات تبدأ في 28 نيسان/أبريل وتنتهي في 21 آب/أغسطس 2003.

The secretariat could identify a list of candidates from these existing lists for review by the panel and approval by the management and review body (or perhaps by the Co-Chairmen of the panel);

Also at the end of indicator of achievement (a) (i) add the words " through recruitment of candidates from those States, if they prove to be the best qualified and competent personnel " .
وفي نهاية مؤشر الإنجاز (أ) ' 1` أيضا، تُضاف عبارات " عن طريق توظيف المرشحين من تلك الدول، إذا أثبتوا أنهم أفضل الموظفين تأهيلا وكفاءة " .

Replace indicator of achievement (a) (i) with the following: " (a) (i) Reduction in the number of unrepresented and underrepresented Member States in the Secretariat through the recruitment of candidates from those States for regular budget posts, if they prove to be the best qualified and competent personnel "
يُستعاض عن مؤشر الإنجاز (أ) ' 1` بما يلي: " خفض عدد الدول الأعضاء غير الممثلة والناقصة التمثيل في الأمانة العامة في الوظائف المموّلة من الميزانية العادية عن طريق توظيف المرشحين من تلك الدول، إذا أثبتوا أنهم أفضل تأهيلا وكفاءة " .

It encouraged Namibia to revise its electoral laws with a view to encouraging political parties to broaden their appeal to ethnic minorities and to include a minimum proportion of candidates from these groups.
وشجعت ناميبيا على تنقيح قانونها الانتخابي بهدف تشجيع الأحزاب السياسية على إفساح باب المشاركة أمام الأقليات الإثنية وأن تُشرك نسبة دنيا من المرشحين من تلك الفئات(44).
