The overarching goal of the Inter-programme Coordination Team on Space Weather is to facilitate international coordination and improvement of space weather observations, products and services, in an operational perspective, in accordance with the following terms of reference:

The Panel on Space Weather noted the recent work done by the Inter-programme Coordination Team on Space Weather task group to identify and document a comprehensive set of key data requirements underpinning services.

The current strategy pursued by the Inter-programme Coordination Team on Space Weather is to increase global awareness of space weather impacts, advocate for improved observations, coordinate data exchange and operational services, foster partnerships to share responsibilities and encourage research to improve these services.

The Working Group of the Whole agreed that an expert group with a rapporteur be set up to inform the Subcommittee on developments under the agenda item on Space Weather, drawing on the best practices of the work of expert group C on Space Weather of the Working Group on the Long-term Sustainability of Outer Space Activities.

At the international level, space weather services were coordinated by ISES, which was coordinating the space weather services of 14 regional and 3 associate warning centres and 1 collaborative expert centre, and the WMO Inter-Programme Coordination Team on Space Weather, involving 21 member countries and 7 international organizations.
وعلى المستوى الدولي، يجري تنسيق خدمات طقس الفضاء من قِبل الخدمة الدولية لرصد بيئة الفضاء التي تتولى تنسيق خدمات طقس الفضاء لدى 14 مركز إنذار إقليمي و3 مراكز إنذار تابعة ومركز تعاوني واحد للخبراء، وفريق التنسيق بين البرامج المعني بطقس الفضاء التابع للمنظمة العالمية للأرصاد الجوية، والذي يضم 21 بلدا عضوا و7 منظمات دولية.
