It is hoped that future groups of States Parties mandated to analyse requests would benefit from the first year's experience with the use of application of the process.

12. The article 5 extension request process places a heavy burden on the representatives of those States Parties that are mandated to analyse the requests.

1. In 2014, for the seventh consecutive year, the group of States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention carried out its work.
1- أنجزت مجموعة الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات المقدمة بموجب المادة 5 من الاتفاقية عملها في عام 2014 للسنة السابعة على التوالي.

1. In 2013, for the sixth year in a row, the group of States Parties mandated to analyse requests submitted under Article 5 of the Convention carried out its work.

In follow up to this recommendation, the 10MSP President, with the assistance of the ISU and with financial support provided by Norway, convened a workshop on 7 March 2011, the purpose of which was to increase the knowledge and build the capacity of representatives of States Parties mandated to analyse requests.

12. The Article 5 extension request process places a heavy burden on the representatives of those States Parties that are mandated to analyse the requests.
12- وتلقي عملية طلبات التمديد في إطار المادة 5 عبئاً ثقيلاً على ممثلي تلك الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات.

9. At the Tenth Meeting of the States Parties (10MSP), it was again recorded that " the Article 5 extension request process places a heavy burden on the representatives of those States Parties that are mandated to analyse the requests.
9- وفي الاجتماع العاشر للدول الأطراف، ذُكر مرة ثانية أن " عملية إعداد طلبات التمديد بموجب المادة 5 تشكل عبئاً ثقيلاً على ممثلي الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات.

It was further noted that the commitment required on the part of States Parties mandated to prepare analyses may have been too great for many, that participation in the analysis process was mixed and that the work load associated with this task should be taken into account by States Parties considering proposing that they serve as Co-Rapporteurs / Co-Chairs.
كما لوحظ أن حجم الالتزام المطلوب من الدول الأطراف المكلفة بتحليل الطلبات ربما فاق طاقة الكثير منها، وأن المشاركة في عملية التحليل تفاوتت وأن الدول الأطراف التي تفكر في التطوع لتولي مناصب المقررين المتشاركين/الرؤساء المتشاركين ينبغي أن تضع في اعتبارها عبء العمل المتصل بهذه المهمة.
