Each year, the Center runs a campaign at the national level to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illegal Trafficking.
ينظم المركز كل عام حملة على المستوى الوطني بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لمكافحة تعاطي المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بها.

In his message on the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking earlier this year, the Secretary-General stated that:
وفي هذا الصدد، قال اﻷمين العام في رسالته بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لمكافحة إساءة استعمال المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بها في أوائل هذا العام:

Thus, an awareness-raising campaign was carried out in high schools in connection with the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
وفي مناسبة اليوم الدولي لمكافحة العنف ضد المرأة، نُظمت حملة توعية في المدارس الثانوية.

The organization has also expanded the international section on its website, and continues to add materials intended for international audiences, for example on the International Day against Substance Abuse.
ووسَّعت المنظمة أيضا القسم الدولي على موقعها الشبكي، وهي مُستمرة في إضافة مواد معدة للجمهور الدولي، عن مواضيع منها اليوم الدولي لمكافحة تعاطي المخدرات على سبيل المثال.

Today, 26 June, we commemorate two important days: the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking and the International Day in Support of Victims of Torture.

كما عُرض بمناسبة اليوم الدولي لمكافحة إساءة استعمال المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بها فيلم وثائقي بالتلفزيون يهدف إلى توعية السكان بهذا البلاء وكشف أخطاره بالنسبة للعائلة والمجتمع.

In the area of prevention, sensitization campaigns had been conducted, especially on the occasion of the International Day against Drugs; educational programmes had been set up at schools and universities, and special programmes had been designed for border communities.

It also co-organizes the annual Mini NGO Forum during the Session o f the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs, and helps co-ordinate world-wide activities on the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking each year.
كما أنه يشارك في تنظيم المحفل السنوي المصغّر للمنظمات غير الحكومية أثناء دورة لجنة الأمم المتحدة للمخدرات، ويساعد في كل سنة على تنسيق الأنشطة على الصعيد العالمي في مناسبة اليوم الدولي لمكافحة إساءة استعمال المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بها.

In that connection, the European Union commended the launching of the campaign entitled " Drugs: treatment works " , on the occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Drug Trafficking, and the launching of the World Drug Report.

Jordan emphasized the important role to be played by the media, the use of feature television programmes that were popular among young people, as well as the organization of appropriate celebrations of international days, such as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, celebrated together with various civil associations.
وأكّد الأردن أهمية الدور الذي تؤديه وسائل الإعلام، واستخدام أبرز البرامج التلفزيونية التي تحظى بشعبية في أوساط الشباب، فضلاً عن تنظيم الاحتفالات المناسبة للأيام الدولية، مثل اليوم الدولي لمكافحة تعاطي المخدرات والاتجار غير المشروع بها، الذي يُحتفل به بالتنسيق مع جمعيات مدنية مختلفة.

The organization has supported the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime (UNODC) every year by conducting activities and web features on the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, and has been a supporter of the Blue Heart Campaign against Human Trafficking.
