More precisely, the Turkish scientific ship Barbaros Hayreddin Pasa, accompanied by two other support vessels, will carry out a seismic survey from 20 October to 30 December 2014 in the southern sea of Cyprus and more specifically in blocks 1, 2, 3, 8 and 9 of the exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Cyprus.

However, this is the first time that Turkey decided to escalate its provocation and directly carry out a seismic survey in specific blocks, some of which have been assigned to international companies (blocks 2, 3 and 9), within the southern part of the exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Cyprus.
غير أن هذه هي المرة الأولى التي تقرر فيها تركيا تصعيد أعمالها الاستفزازية والقيام مباشرة بمسح اهتزازي في كتل محددة، بعض منها أسند إلى شركات دولية (الكتل 2 و 3 و 9)، ضمن الجزء الجنوبي من المنطقة الاقتصادية الخالصة لجمهورية قبرص.

In particular, the seismic vessel Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa, owned by TPAO, the state-owned petroleum company of the Republic of Turkey, conducted between 12 December 2013 and 14 January 2014 seismic survey operations in an area partly falling within the territorial sea, the exclusive economic zone and the continental shelf of the Republic of Cyprus (see annex I).
وعلى وجه الخصوص، أجرت ســـفينة المســح الاهتزازي Barbaros Hayreddin Paşa التي تملكها شركة " TPAO " ، وهي شركة النفط المملوكة للدولة في جمهورية تركيا، عمليات مسح اهتزازي في الفترة من 12 كانون الأول/ديسمبر 2013 إلى 14 كانون الثاني/يناير 2014 في منطقة تقع جزئياً في البحر الإقليمي لجمهورية قبرص ومنطقتها الاقتصادية الخالصة وجرفها القاري (انظر المرفق الأول).
