The rights of persons belonging to national minorities in both States shall be protected in accordance with the highest international standards.
وتُحترم حقوق اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى أقليات قومية في كلتا الدولتين وفقا ﻷعلى المعايير الدولية.

The Parties shall fully protect rights of persons belonging to national minorities within their borders, in accordance with the highest international standards.

5. Calls upon the Commission on Human Rights to examine, as a matter of priority, ways and means to promote and protect effectively the rights of persons belonging to minorities, as set out in the Declaration;

The Declaration on the Rights of persons belonging to National or Ethnic, Religious and Linguistic Minorities, which was adopted by the General Assembly in its resolution 47/135 of 18 December 1992, needs to be followed up.
ويلزم متابعة اﻹعلان المتعلق بحقوق اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى أقليات قومية وإثنية ودينية ولغوية، الذي اعتمدته الجمعية العامة في قرارها ٤٧/١٣٥ المؤرخ ١٨ كانون اﻷول/ديسمبر ١٩٩٢.

It requires democratic institutions, respect for all human rights and fundamental freedoms, increased and equal economic opportunities, the rule of law, the promotion of respect for cultural diversity and the rights of persons belonging to minorities, and an active involvement of civil society.
وهو يتطلب إقامة مؤسسات ديمقراطية، واحترام جميع حقوق اﻹنسان وحرياته اﻷساسية، وزيادة الفرص الاقتصادية وتكافؤها، وسيادة القانون، وتشجيع احترام التنوع الثقافي وحقوق اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى اﻷقليات، والمشاركة النشطة من جانب المجتمع المدني.

J. Combating discrimination and promoting the rights of persons belonging to groups requiring special protection: equal status and rights of women, the rights of the child and the rights of minorities and indigenous people
ياء- مكافحة التمييز وتعزيز حقـوق اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى مجموعات تحتاج الـــى حماية خاصة: المساواة في المركز وحقـــوق اﻹنســان للمرأة، وحقوق الطفل وحقوق اﻷقليات والسكان اﻷصليين

21. The question of persons belonging to national minorities is apparently an area of concern where efforts to improve the situation are under way.
١٢- ومن الواضح أن مسألة اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى اﻷقليات الوطنية ما زالت تشكل مجالاً من المجالات التي تبعث على القلق والذي تبذل فيه جهود لتحسين الحالة.

3. Strongly deplores ethnic and other forms of intolerance as one of the major causes of forced migratory movements, and urges States to take all necessary steps to ensure respect for human rights, especially the rights of persons belonging to minorities;
٣ - تشجب بشدة التعصﱡب العرقي وسائر أشكال التعصب باعتبارها أحد اﻷسباب الرئيسية لحركات الهجرة القسرية، وتحث الدول على اتخاذ جميع الخطوات اللازمة لضمان احترام حقوق اﻹنسان، وخاصة حقوق اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى أقليات؛

203. The Committee recommends that special efforts be made within the armed forces to terminate any unlawful violence towards civilians, including persons belonging to indigenous communities, and to secure that perpetrators of human rights violations are brought to justice.
٢٠٣ - وتوصي اللجنة ببذل جهود خاصة في إطار القوات المسلحة ﻹنهاء أي عمل من أعمال العنف غير المشروعة ضد المدنيين، بما في ذلك اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى مجتمعات السكان اﻷصليين، ولكفالة تقديم منتهكي حقوق الانسان الى العدالة.

The Committee recommends that special measures be taken by the authorities to prevent acts of discrimination towards persons belonging to the scheduled castes and scheduled tribes, and, in cases where such acts have been committed, to conduct thorough investigations, to punish those found responsible and to provide just and adequate reparation to the victims.
٣٦٥ - وتوصي اللجنة بأن تتخذ السلطات تدابير خاصة لمنع أعمال التمييز ضد اﻷشخاص الذين ينتمون الى الطوائف المصنفة والقبائل المصنفة، وبأن تقوم هذه السلطات، في الحالات التي ترتكب فيها هذه اﻷعمال، بإجراء تحقيقات وافية، وبمعاقبة الذين تثبت مسؤوليتهم عن ذلك، وبتقديم تعويض عادل ومناسب للضحايا.
