Concern was expressed that extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions continued despite the peace process initiated by the signing of an accord between the Government and the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) in 1993.
وأُعرب عن القلق إزاء استمرار عمليات اﻹعدام بلا محاكمة أو باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي على الرغم من عملية السلام التي استُهلت بتوقيع اتفاق بين الحكومة ومنظمة التحرير الفلسطينية في عام ٣٩٩١.

2. Since most allegations of extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions were transmitted on 4 June 1996 and 1 September 1996, these dates are not indicated in the report.
٢- ولما كانت معظم الادعاءات المتعلقة بحالات اﻹعدام بلا محاكمة أو باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي قد أُحيلت في ٤ حزيران/يونيه ٦٩٩١ و١ أيلول/سبتمبر ٦٩٩١، فلم ترد إشارة إلى هذين التاريخين في التقرير.

21. The Special Rapporteur also transmitted to the authorities the complaints he had received about the alleged extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions of the following persons:

245. On 6 May 1996 the Special Rapporteur transmitted an urgent appeal in conjunction with the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions on behalf of Mehrdad Kavoussi, a member of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran, who had sought asylum in Turkey.
٥٤٢- في ٦ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٦، وجﱠه المقرر الخاص بالاشتراك مع المقرر الخاص المعني بحالات اﻹعدام بلا محاكمة أو باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي نداء عاجلا بالنيابة عن مهرداد كافوسي، عضو منظمة مجاهدي الشعب في ايران، الذي التمس اللجوء إلى تركيا.

4. In his most recent report, the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions stated that, during the period under review, 131 urgent appeals were launched to a number of countries, including Indonesia, concerning extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions.
٤ - وذكر المقرر الخاص المعني بحالات اﻹعدام بلا محاكمة أو بإجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي، في آخر تقرير له، أنه تم، في الفترة قيد الاستعراض، إرسال ١٣١ نداء عاجلا الى عدد من البلدان، بما في ذلك اندونيسيا، حول حالات اﻹعدام بلا محاكمة أو باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي.

He also shares the views of the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions concerning his recommended creation of machinery to ensure the security and protection of all Burundians by the establishment of a national police force that would be accepted by the two communities and whose primary function would be to protect the civilian population.
٧٥١- ويشاطر أيضاً المقرر الخاص المعني بحالات اﻹعدام بدون محاكمة أو باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي آراءه، عندما يوصي بإنشاء آلية تهدف إلى توفير اﻷمن والحماية لجميع أفراد الشعب البوروندي، ولا سيما عن طريق تكوين قوات للشرطة الوطنية تكون مقبولة من المجموعتين وتكون مسؤوليتها الرئيسية هي حماية السكان المدنيين.

39. Special procedures and mechanisms of the Commission to which its resolution 1990/75 is addressed have generally dealt with cases of alleged intimidation or reprisals under their established methods of work, including the urgent action procedure applied by the Working Group on Enforced or Involuntary Disappearances and Special Rapporteurs on summary or arbitrary executions and torture.
٣٩ - وقد تناولت الاجراءات واﻵليات الخاصة للجنة التي عالجها قرارها ١٩٩٠/٧٥، بصورة عامة، حالات التهديد المزعومة أو اﻷعمال الانتقامية في إطار أساليب العمل المقررة، بما في ذلك اجراء العمل العاجل الذي يطبقه الفريق العامل المعني بحالات الاختفاء القسري أو غير الطوعي والمقررين الخاصين المعنيين بحالات اﻹعدام باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي والتعذيب.

On 13 June 1997, the Special Rapporteur sent an urgent appeal jointly with the Special Rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions concerning T. Puroshotham, lawyer and joint secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Civil Liberties Committee, who was reportedly attacked on 27 May 1997 by police in plain clothes and sustained serious head injuries.
٦٧- ووجه المقرر الخاص بتاريخ ٣١ حزيران/يونيه ٧٩٩١ نداء عاجلا بالاشتراك مع المقرر الخاص المعني بحالات اﻹعدام بلا محاكمة أو باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي بشأن حالة ت. بوروشوتام، وهو محام وأمين مشارك للجنة آندرا براديش للحريات المدنية الذي أُفيد بأنه تعرض يوم ٧٢ أيار/مايو ٧٩٩١ لاعتداء من قبل أفراد من الشرطة يرتدون ملابس مدنية وأُصيب باصابات جسيمة في رأسه.

Decides to consider the question of extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions as a matter of high priority at its fifty-first session under the agenda item " Question of the violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms in any part of the world, with particular reference to colonial and other dependent countries and territories " .
١٢- تقرر النظر في مسألة حالات اﻹعدام بلا محاكمة أو باجراءات موجزة أو اﻹعدام التعسفي باعتبارها أمرا ذا أولوية عالية في دورتها الحادية والخمسين تحت بند جدول اﻷعمال المعنون " مسألة انتهاك حقوق اﻹنسان والحريات اﻷساسية في أي جزء من العالم، مع الاشارة بصفة خاصة إلى البلدان واﻷقاليم المستعمرة وغيرها من البلدان واﻷقاليم التابعة " .

18. Decides to consider the question of extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions as a matter of high priority at its fifty-second session under the agenda item entitled " Question of the violation of human rights and fundamental freedoms in any part of the world, with particular reference to colonial and other dependent countries and territories " ;
