In this respect, article 20 of the Kuwaiti Penal Code No. 16 of 1960 provides that when a juvenile who has completed 14 years but has not completed 18 years of age commits a crime punishable by the death sentence, the judge shall render a term of imprisonment of no more than 15 years.

فقد نصت المادة 120 من هذا القانون على أن " كل موظف عام استعمل وظيفته لمجرد الإضرار بأحد الأفراد يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز ثلاث سنوات وبغرامة لا تجاوز ثلاثة آلاف روبية أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين " .

كما نصت المادة ١٩١ على أن: " كل من هتك عرض إنسان باﻹكراه أو بالتهديد أو بالحيلة يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز خمس عشر سنة.

138. Article 155, paragraph 7, of the same Act provides that any person who, despite his ability to do so, fails to hand over maintenance which he has been ordered to pay shall be punished with a term of imprisonment of not less than one month and not more than six months.
١٣٨- ونصت الفقرة ٧ من المادة ١٥٥ من نفس القانون على أن يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تقل عن شهر ولا تزيد على ستة أشهر كل من حكم عليه بتسليم نفقة طفل وامتنع عن تسليمها مع قدرته على ذلك.

Article 162 stipulates that any person who causes bodily harm to another person that results in permanent deformity shall be punished by a term of imprisonment of no more than 10 years and an additional discretionary fine of no more than 10,000 rupees.
ونصت المادة 162 " كل من أحدث بغيره أذى أفضى إلى اصابته بعاهة مستديمة يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز عشر سنوات، ويجوز أن تضاف إليه غرامة لا تجاوز عشرة آلاف روبية.

Elsewhere, article 122 of the Penal Code punishes any public officer who enters the residence of any person without his consent, or in circumstances other than those specified by law, with a term of imprisonment of no more than three years and/or a fine not exceeding 3,000 rupees.

كل شخص يشتغل أو يقيم عادة في محل للفجور أو الدعارة مع علمه بذلك يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على سنة.

If the person who committed suicide was under 16 years of age or of diminished capacity, the offender shall be liable to imprisonment for a term of not more than 10 years.
وإذا كان المنتحر لم يبلغ السادسة عشرة، أو كان ناقص الإرادة أو الإدراك، عوقب الجاني بالحبس مدة لا تجاوز عشر سنوات.

140. Article 203 provides a penalty of imprisonment for no more than three years and/or a fine of no more than 3,000 rupees for any person who establishes, manages or in any way helps to establish or to manage a place for prostitution and obscene acts.
140- كما نصت المادة 203 على أن كل شخص أنشأ أو أدار محلا للفجور والدعارة، أو عاون بأي طريقة كانت في إنشائه أو إدارته، يعاقب بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على ثلاث سنوات وبغرامة لا تجاوز ثلاثة آلاف روبية أو بإحدى هاتين العقوبتين.

Article 198 furthermore prescribes a penalty of up to one year's imprisonment or a fine for anyone who maliciously broadcasts or publicizes false information intended to disrupt public order or prejudice the public interest. If the act leads to a breakdown in public order, the penalty will be doubled.
208- كما عاقبت المادة 198 بالحبس مدة لا تزيد على سنة أو بالغرامة كل من أذاع أو نشر علناً وبسوء قصد أخباراً كاذبة إذا كان من شأنها تكدير السلم العام أو الإضرار بالصالح العام فإذا ترتب على الإذاعة أو النشر تكدير السلم العام ضوعفت العقوبة.
