Today, we commemorate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. The Palestinian people yearn to attain their freedom and exercise their right to self-determination, as do all other peoples in the world.
نحتفي هذا اليوم باليوم العالمي للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني الذي يتوق إلى نيل حريته وتقرير مصيره مثل باقي شعوب الإنسانية.

It gives me pleasure to summarize a statement by the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, which the Committee has commemorated regularly since 1975, in expression of its support for the legitimate and national rights of the Palestinian people.
ويسعدني أن ألقي كلمة الأمانة العامة لجامعة الدول العربية في الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني، الذي دأبت لجنتكم الموقرة على الاحتفال به منذ عام 1975، تعبيراً عن دعمها للحقوق الوطنية المشروعة للشعب العربي الفلسطيني.

Today, the people of the world celebrate the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People. On this day 55 years ago, history started to record the events of the Palestinian catastrophe and is still doing so now.
احتفل المجتمع الدولي قبل يومين، في 19 من تشرين الثاني/نوفمبر 2002، باليوم العالمي للتضامن مع الشعب الفلسطيني، وهو اليوم الذي بدأ فيه التاريخ يسجل وقائع مأساة النكبة الفلسطينية منذ 55 سنة وما زال مستمرا حتى الآن.
