اعتباراً من انعقاد الدورة العامة السنوية للجنة في عام 2005، تقوم اللجنة، في الجلسة الأخيرة لدورتها العامة السنوية، بانتخاب أعضاء مكتبها الذين يتولون مهام مناصبهم منذ اليوم التالي لانتخابهم وحتى انتهاء اليوم الأخير للدورة العامة السنوية التالية، وهم: الرئيس ونائب الرئيس والمقرر.

Each subsidiary body shall elect its own officers other than the Chair.
وتقوم كل هيئة فرعية بانتخاب أعضاء مكتبها عدا الرئيس.

2. At its 11th meeting, held on 6 January 1997, the Committee elected its Bureau for 1997, which consisted of Ambassador Nabil Elaraby (Egypt) as Chairman, with the delegations of Costa Rica and Japan providing the two Vice-Chairmen.
٢ - قامت اللجنة، في جلستها اﻟ ١١، المعقودة في ٦ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٧، بانتخاب أعضاء مكتبها لعام ١٩٩٧، الذي يتألف من السيد نبيل العربي )مصر( رئيسا، ومن مندوبي كوستاريكا واليابان نائبين للرئيس.

3. At its 6th meeting, held on 6 January 1997, the Committee elected its Bureau for 1997, which consisted of Ambassador Hisashi Owada (Japan) as Chairman, with the delegations of Kenya and Sweden providing the two Vice-Chairmen.
٣ - قامت اللجنة في جلستها السادسة، المعقودة في ٦ كانون الثاني/يناير ٧٩٩١، بانتخاب أعضاء مكتبها لعام ٧٩٩١، الذي يتألف من السفير هيساشي أُوادا )اليابان( رئيسا، ومندوبي السويد وكينيا نائبين للرئيس.

3. At its 5th meeting, on 3 January 1996, the Committee elected its Bureau for 1996, which consisted of Mr. Nugroho Wisnumurti (Indonesia) as Chairman, with the delegations of Botswana and Italy providing the two Vice-Chairmen.
٣ - قامت اللجنة في جلستها الخامسة، المعقودة في ٣ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٦، بانتخاب أعضاء مكتبها لعام ١٩٩٦، الذي يتألف من السيد نوغروهو ويسنومورتي )أندونيسيا( رئيسا، ونائبين للرئيس يعينهما وفدا إيطاليا وبوتسوانا.

3. At its 9th meeting, on 3 January 1996, the Committee elected its Bureau for 1996, which consisted of Mr. Nabil Elaraby (Egypt) as Chairman, with the delegations of Honduras and Indonesia providing the two Vice-Chairmen.
٣ - قامت اللجنة، في جلستها التاسعة المعقودة في ٣ كانون الثاني/يناير ١٩٩٦، بانتخاب أعضاء مكتبها لعام ١٩٩٦ المكون من السيد نبيل العربي )مصر( رئيسا، ووفدي اندونيسيا وهندوراس نائبين للرئيس.

At its 240th and 241st meetings, on 18 March, the Special Committee, bearing in mind the terms of the agreement regarding the election of the officers reached at its session in 19811 and taking into account the results of the pre-session consultations among its Member States, elected its Bureau, as follows:

At its 245th meeting, on 29 March 2004, the Special Committee, bearing in mind the terms of the agreement regarding the election of the officers reached at its session in 19811 and taking into account the results of the pre-session informal consultations among its Member States held on 22 March 2004, elected its Bureau, as follows:
