At its 4th meeting, on 27 April, the Working Group decided to establish a Drafting Group, which held 13 meetings, under the chairmanship of Ambassador Peggy Mason (Canada), with the task of drafting a text on the subject for adoption.

The Chairman (interpretation from French): I still think of Ambassador Peggy Mason as the " tireless " Chairman of Working Group II. She has been extremely committed to her work; she worked right up to the very last minute to attempt to arrive at a consensus.
