The formulation of an objection to a valid reservation renders the reservation inapplicable as against the objecting State or international organization unless the reservation has been established with regard to that State or international organization.
يؤدي إبداء اعتراض على تحفظ صحيح إلى جعل التحفظ عديم الحجية إزاء الدولة أو المنظمة الدولية المعترضة، ما لم يكن التحفظ قد أُقرَّ في مواجهة تلك الدولة أو تلك المنظمة الدولية.

No State or group of States can proclaim the overarching importance of democracy, nor can any nation or group of States claim to intervene in another State in the interest of upholding democracy, if that nation or group of States is unwilling to democratize the Security Council itself.
ولا يجوز ﻷي دولة أو مجموعة من الدول أن تنادي باﻷهمية الطاغية للديمقراطية، ولا ﻷي دولة أو مجموعة من الدول أن تقول بجواز التدخل في دولة أخرى في سبيل التمسك بالديمقراطية، إذا كانت تلك الدولة أو تلك المجموعة من الدول تفتقر إلى الاستعداد اللازم ﻹقرار الديمقراطية في مجلس اﻷمن ذاته.

3. “... whereby the State or organization purports to exclude or to modify the legal effect of certain provisions of the treaty in their application to that State or to that organization”
وتهدف تلك الدولة أو تلك المنظمة من اﻹعلان إلى استبعاد أو تعديل اﻷثر القانوني ﻷحكام معينة من المعاهدة في تطبيق هذه اﻷحكام على هذه الدولة أو هذه المنظمة "

Unless the treaty otherwise provides, or it is otherwise agreed, the withdrawal of a reservation becomes operative in relation to a contracting State or a contracting organization only when notice of it has been received by that State or that organization.
ما لم تنص المعاهدة على حكم مخالف، أو ما لم يُتفق على أمر مخالف، لا يصبح سحب تحفظ ما نافذ المفعول بالنسبة إلى دولة متعاقدة أو منظمة متعاقدة إلا عندما تتسلم تلك الدولة أو تلك المنظمة إشعاراً
