وانتُحب السيد أسامة النجيفي النائب عن الكتلة العراقية رئيسا للمجلس، كما انتُحب السيد قُصي السهيل من التيار الصدري والسيد عارف طيفور من التحالف الكردستاني نائبين لرئيس المجلس، وأُعيد انتحاب السيد جلال الطالباني رئيسا للجمهورية لفترة ولاية ثانية.
