Paragraph 17 of the report contains erroneous information regarding the situation at Aleppo Central Prison, which is besieged by armed terrorist groups. The siege is so tight that food and medical supplies cannot enter.

:: The report refers to violations allegedly committed in Aleppo Central Prison when neither the United Nations nor any other party is capable of determining their veracity because of the total siege that terrorist groups have imposed since the beginning of the year.

OHCHR recently concluded that violations of international human rights and humanitarian law, some of which may amount to war crimes, were committed by Syrian Government forces, as well as by armed opposition groups on the former inmates of the Aleppo Central Prison.
وخلصت مفوضية حقوق الإنسان مؤخرا إلى أن قوات الحكومة السورية وجماعات المعارضة المسلحة قد ارتكبت بحق السجناء السابقين في سجن حلب المركزي انتهاكات لحقوق الإنسان الدولية وللقانون الإنساني الدولي قد يُصنف بعضها ضمن جرائم الحرب().

Expresses grave concern over the commission of inquiry's reports on prisoners in government facilities being held in dire conditions, denied medical assistance and food and subjected to torture, and over the restrictions placed on food and medical supplies reaching Aleppo Central Prison and other detention facilities by a number of groups, including Jabhat al-Nusra;
