٤- يجوز للدولة الطرف، بصورة استثنائية وﻷسباب تقدمها سراً، أن تعلن عدم جواز اشتراك أحد المستشارين أو المترجمين الشفويين المعاونين للجنة الفرعية في بعثة توفد الى أراضٍ تكون خاضعة لولايتها القضائية.

7. Article 5 of the Convention draws attention to the States parties' obligation " to destroy or ensure the destruction of all anti-personnel mines in mined areas under its jurisdiction or control " (emphasis added).
7- وتوجه المادة 5 من الاتفاقية الانتباه إلى تعهد الدول الأطراف " بتدمير أو ضمان تدمير كل مخزون الألغام المضادة للأفراد في المناطق الملغومة التي تكون خاضعة لولايتها أو سيطرتها " (أضيف التشديد).

But the words “subject to its jurisdiction” were used deliberately, because, in the absence of a restrictive clause of that type, there could be a situation where a State lodged a complaint against an action committed by another State.
