Brazil and South Africa, in their capacity as hosts of the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cups, proposed to the Human Rights Council, in March 2010, a resolution entitled " A world of sports free from racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance " (resolution 13/27).
فقد اقترحت البرازيل وجنوب أفريقيا بوصفهما بلدين استضافا دورتي كأس العالم لكرة القدم في عامي 2010 و 2014، على مجلس حقوق الإنسان قرارا معنونا " عالم رياضي خال من العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب " (القرار 13/27).

The Working Group also recalls Human Rights Council resolution 13/27 on a world of sports free from racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance and Human Rights Council resolution 18/23 on promoting awareness, understanding and application of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights through sport and the Olympic ideal.
ويذكّر الفريق العامل أيضاً بقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 13/27 بشأن عالم رياضي خال من العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وبقرار مجلس حقوق الإنسان 18/23 بشأن تعزيز الوعي بالإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان وفهمه وتطبيقه من خلال الرياضة ومن خلال المثل الأعلى الأولمبي.

وإذ نعيد تأكيد حق جميع الشعوب في العيش في مجتمع خال من العنصرية والتمييز العنصري وكره الأجانب وما يتصل بذلك من تعصب، وأن من واجب الدول أن تتخذ التدابير الفورية والحاسمة والمناسبة للقضاء على جميع أشكال التمييز العنصري أينما وكلما وكيفما مورست،
