The events that occurred in Khan Asal over the past few days have revealed the involvement of certain neighbouring States in the provision of military, material and logistical support to the armed terrorist groups. The involvement of those States is such that they are giving orders to attack specific sites and perpetrate massacres, with a view to achieving their goal of destabilizing Syria.
إن ما حصل في خان العسل خلال الأيام القليلة الماضية كشف دور بعض دول الجوار المتورطة بتوفير الدعم العسكري والمادي واللوجستي للجماعات الإرهابية المسلّحة، وهو تورط وصل إلى درجة إعطاء الأوامر بشن هجمات على مواقع محددة وارتكاب مجازر فيها سعياً لتحقيق أهداف هذه الدول في زعزعة استقرار سوريا.

One member accused some members of doing all that they could to ensure that an investigation of the particular incident in Khan al-Asal reported by the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic was not conducted.

4. The United Nations Secretariat has repeatedly stated that the traces of the use of poisonous gases do not dissipate with time. The accuracy of that is evidenced by the fact that it dispatched a team to investigate the Khan Asal incident five months after the Syrian Government had requested that it should do so.
