(c) Duly bring to trial alleged perpetrators of acts of torture or ill-treatment and, if they are found guilty, punish them with appropriate penalties which take into account the grave nature of their acts.
(ج) ملاحقة المرتكبين المزعومين لأعمال التعذيب أو إساءة المعاملة على النحو الواجب، ومعاقبتهم في حالة الإدانة بعقوبات متناسبة مع خطورة أفعالهم.

(a) Take appropriate steps to ensure that all allegations of torture or ill-treatment are investigated promptly, thoroughly and impartially by independent courts, that the perpetrators of such acts are prosecuted and, if convicted, given sentences that are proportional to the severity of the acts, and that the victims or their families receive adequate compensation and reparation;
(أ) اتخاذ التدابير المناسبة لضمان قيام محاكم مستقلة بالتحقيق في جميع ادعاءات التعذيب أو سوء المعاملة بصورة فورية وشاملة ونزيهة ومقاضاة المسؤولين عن هذه الأفعال ومعاقبتهم إذا ما أُدينوا بعقوبات تتناسب مع خطورة أفعالهم وتقديم ما يناسب من التعويضات والجبر إلى الضحايا أو أسرهم؛

Moreover, persons suspected of having committed torture or ill-treatment should be prosecuted by judicial or prosecutorial authorities and, if found guilty, should be punished with appropriate sentences that are commensurate with the gravity of their acts and victims should be afforded appropriate redress.
وفضلاً عن ذلك، ينبغي مقاضاة المشتبه في ارتكابهم أعمال التعذيب أو سوء المعاملة أمام السلطة القضائية أو النيابة العامة، وضمان أن تتناسب العقوبات التي تُنزل بحقهم مع خطورة أفعالهم إذا ثبتت إدانتهم، وتوفير الجبر الملائم للضحايا().

(c) Prosecute persons suspected of physical violence and ill-treatment and, if found guilty, ensure that they are punished in accordance with the gravity of their acts and that their victims are afforded appropriate redress, in accordance with article 14 of the Convention;
