In conclusion, I reiterate my Government's support for the “White Helmets” initiative, which meets the objectives defined by “An Agenda for Peace” and which, in its operational phase, will strengthen the essential and highly appreciated activities of the Blue Helmets, United Nations volunteers and other intergovernmental and non-governmental institutions which have been working tirelessly for decades to attain the same goals.
وختاما أعيد تأكيد تأييد حكومتي لمبادرة " الخوذ البيض " التي تفي بالغايات المحددة في " خطة السلام " والتي ستعزز في مرحلتها التنفيذية اﻷنشطة اﻷساسية التي تحظى بتقدير عالي والتي يقوم بها ذوو الخوذات الزرقاء ومتطوعو اﻷمم المتحدة وسائر المؤسسات الحكومية الدولية وغير الحكومية التي ظلت تعمل بلا كلل لعقود طويلة وصولا الى هذه اﻷهداف ذاتها.

It will be responsible for the preparation of the Department's reports to the General Assembly and Economic and Social Council on the strengthening of the coordination of humanitarian assistance of the United Nations system, assistance in mine clearance; and ways of strengthening the participation of volunteers (“White Helmets”) in humanitarian operations.
