633. The International Human Rights Association of American Minorities appreciated the recommendations reflected in the outcome of the review.

296. The International Human Rights Association of American Minorities noted that the 2008 elections were promising and the establishment of the human rights commission offered some hope.

369. The International Human Rights Association of American Minorities congratulated Nigeria on the establishment of its national human rights commission, and expressed the hope that the authorities would do their utmost to ensure that the commission was independent, free and impartial.
369- وهنأت رابطة حقوق الإنسان الدولية للأقليات الأمريكية نيجيريا على إنشاء لجنتها الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان، وأعربت عن أملها في أن تقوم السلطات بكل ما في وسعها لكفالة استقلالية اللجنة وحريتها ونزاهتها.

435. The Indian Council of South America, also on behalf of the International Human Rights Association of American Minorities, praised Cuba's contribution to the issues of indigenous peoples and the right to food.
