(c) Finance miscellaneous self-liquidating purchases and activities which do not exceed $200,000, with advances in excess of that amount requiring the prior concurrence of the Advisory Committee;

5. Under paragraph 1 (a) of the General Assembly resolutions on unforeseen and extraordinary expenditures (the most recent one is resolution 64/246), the Secretary-General is authorized to enter into commitments, without the prior concurrence of the Advisory Committee, of up to $8 million per year for activities certified by him as relating to the maintenance of peace and security.

(c) Such sums as may be necessary to continue the revolving fund to finance miscellaneous self-liquidating purchases and activities which, together with net sums outstanding for the same purpose, do not exceed 200,000 dollars; advances in excess of the total of 200,000 dollars may be made with the prior concurrence of the Advisory Committee on Administrative and Budgetary Questions;
