66. The SBI endorsed the terms of reference for the intermediate review of progress in the implementation of the amended New Delhi work programme as contained in annex III.

The opening session concluded with a presentation by a representative of the secretariat on objectives and methodologies of the workshop, and background information on the ongoing review of the implementation of the amended New Delhi work programme and the development of a successor work programme for possible adoption at COP 18.
