In his speech, the Greek Cypriot representative complained about " invasion " and " occupation " of the island and the so-called " refugee " problem, which has been their propaganda tool for the last 20 years, deceiving world public opinion without mentioning that the problem started 32 years ago and it was the Turkish Cypriot people who were the victims of the above-mentioned complaints for 11 years between 1963 and 1974.
لقد شكا ممثل القبارصة اليونانيين في كلمته من " غزو " الجزيرة و " احتلالها " ، ومما أسماه مشكلة " اللاجئين " ، وهي أداة الدعاية التي ما فتأ هذا الجانب يستخدمها على مدى العشرين سنة الماضية، مضللا بها الرأي العام العالمي، ومتناسيا معها أن المشكلة ترجع الى ٣٢ سنة وأن ضحايا المشاكل المذكورة هم القبارصة اﻷتراك لفترة ١١ سنة امتدت بين عامي ١٩٦٣ و ١٩٧٤.

Mr. Dosseh (Togo), speaking on behalf of the Group of African States, said that the Group had serious concerns about the late submission of the documentation related to that important agenda item and urged the Secretary-General to take urgent measures to address the situation, which continued to affect the quality of the Committee's deliberations and decision-making process.
٥ - السيد دوسيه (توغو): تكلّم باسم مجموعة الدول الأفريقية، فقال إن المجموعة تشعر ببالغ القلق من التأخر في تقديم الوثائق المتصلة بهذا البند الهام من جدول الأعمال، وحث الأمين العام على اتخاذ تدابير عاجلة لتدارك هذا الوضع، الذي ما فتأ يؤثر على نوعية المداولات التي تجريها اللجنة وعلى عملية اتخاذ القرارات.
