46. The Committee recalled that the General Assembly had, in section III of its resolution 53/207 of 18 December 1998, adopted the revised Regulations and had requested the Secretary-General to take the necessary action to prepare revisions to the relevant rules and to bring them to the attention of the General Assembly through the Committee before promulgation.

IV. Emergency Fund 129. The General Assembly, in section III of its resolution 60/248, authorized the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund to supplement the voluntary contributions to the Emergency Fund for the biennium 2006-2007 by an amount not exceeding $200,000.
129- أذنت الجمعية العامة، في الجزء الثالث من قرارها 60/248، لمجلس الصندوق المشترك للمعاشات التقاعدية لموظفي الأمم المتحدة بتكملة التبرعات المقدمة إلى صندوق الطوارئ لفترة السنتين 2006-2007 بمبلغ لا يتجاوز 000 200 دولار.

As mentioned above, in paragraph 10 of its resolution 61/262, the Assembly decided to maintain, as an interim measure, the retirement benefits of the members of the Court and the judges of the two Tribunals at the level resulting from the annual base salary decided in section III of its resolution 59/282.
وحسب ما ذكِر أعلاه، قررت الجمعية، في الفقرة 10 من قرارها 61/262، الإبقاء، كتدبير مؤقت، على استحقاقات التقاعد المتعلقة بأعضاء محكمة العدل الدولية وقضاة المحكمتين عند المستوى المحدد بناء على المرتب السنوي الأساسي الذي أقرته في الجزء الثالث من قرارها 59/282.

However, in paragraph 10 of resolution 61/262, the Assembly decided to maintain, as an interim measure, the retirement benefits of the members of the Court and the judges of the two Tribunals at the level resulting from the annual base salary decided in section III of its resolution 59/282.

6. In this regard, in section III of its resolution 60/283, the General Assembly authorized the Secretary-General to use a limited discretion for budgetary implementation for the bienniums 2006-2007 and 2008-2009, as described in paragraph 2 above.
