وإذ يعترف بالدور الهام الذي يؤديه المعهد في اﻷعمال التحضيرية الموضوعية للمؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمـرأة: " العمل مـن أجـل المساواة والتنمية والسلم " المقرر عقده في بيجينغ في الفترة من ٤ إلى ١٥ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٥، وبدور المعهد فيما يتعلق بالمؤتمر ذاته،

In response to that invitation, the Governing Council, in paragraph 5 of its decision 18/6 of 26 May 1995, decided to send a message annexed to the decision to the Fourth World Conference on Women, to be held in Beijing from 4 to 15 September 1995.
واستجابة لهذه الدعوة، قرر مجلس اﻹدارة، في الفقرة ٥ من مقرره ١٨/٦ المؤرخ ٢٦ أيار/مايو ١٩٩٥، أن يبعث برسالة مرفقة بالمقرر إلى المؤتمر العالمي الرابع المعني بالمرأة المقرر عقده في بيجينغ في الفترة من ٤ إلى ١٥ أيلول/سبتمبر ١٩٩٥.

The representative of Sweden, in introducing the draft decision on behalf of its original sponsors, drew attention to its annex, which was in the form of a message from the Governing Council to the forthcoming Fourth World Conference on Women, to be held in Beijing from 4 to 15 September 1995.
