131. The COP invited a representative of Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention which are not represented on the CGE by the constituencies referred to in decision 3/CP.8, annex, paragraph 3, to participate in the work of the CGE in an observer capacity, pending the consideration at COP 20 of the specific matter of the membership of such Parties on the CGE.

13. The training sessions, including the hands-on training sessions, were facilitated by resource persons as well as CGE members using the updated CGE training materials.

9. The gender composition of the constituted bodies continues to vary with the representation of women being between 43 per cent in the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (CGE) and 10 per cent in the Compliance Committee enforcement branch.

(c) In accordance with the terms of reference of the LEG, two LEG members, currently Mr. Manyika and Mr. Jan Verhagen (Netherlands), are also members of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention.

Note: The gender composition of the constituted bodies varies: while women's representation is as high as 52 per cent in the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention, there is a clear gender imbalance in all of the other constituted bodies, with women's representation as low as 11 - 13 per cent in some cases.

Mr. Taka Hiraishi, member of the Consultative Group of Experts on National Communications from Parties not included in Annex I to the Convention (CGE) and of the EGTT, presented an overview of the work of CGE relevant to vulnerability and adaptation.

It was observed in the CGE's discussion that, whereas both the enterprise and its investors have an interest in minimizing costs to the enterprise, other stakeholders do not necessarily share the same level of concern about costs incurred by the enterprise.
57- وذكر في المناقشة التي أجراها في فريق الخبراء الاستشاري أنه رغم وجود مصلحة للمشروع ومستثمريه في تخفيض تكاليف المشروع إلى حدها الأدنى، لا تشاركهما بالضرورة جهات أخرى من الجهات صاحبة المصلحة بالقدر ذاته من القلق إزاء التكاليف التي يتكبدها المشروع.
